Salam (Peace) guys!
I don’t know where to start, So, I would just talk about everything randomly.
I won the TechMeetsArt competition, it was great! I learnt and realised a lot by entering the competition and it also provided it’s own inspiration and possible challenges. I hope there are more that will come up as a result of the series of events leading to, during and after the competition. I couldn’t attend the opening private exhibition where the food art was featured and the ceremony that evening because I was away in Turkey, Istanbul, for the Istanbul Modest Fashion week where I have been invited to earlier.
I had the opportunity of meeting amazing people from all over the world and getting inspired as well. The highlight was meeting Annah Hariri and bonding like soul sisters!
I also gave a little talk on social media and utilising it properly.
As it is with any work/ hobby/ business, one has to continually think of what the next steps are after a previous work. I’m continuously involved in self training and overall personal development, pushing my limits to get better.
Immediately after the success of the Ogbono art work. I was inspired to do something with the unilever logo. The logo had so much potential with all the icons that made up the logo and I saw what exactly I would do with it and got to work.
Basically, what I did was used food items to create the icons that made up the U logo and used mostly Unilever products. Because the peppers are straight from God.
According to the brand, each icon has a rich meaning at its core and represents some aspect of their effort to make sustainable living commonplace.
They all then come together to form.
This whole U
Which was all done with different coloured spices. You’ll see more information on their website.
